In addition to strawberries, Mahabaleshwar is also well known for its numerous rivers, and majestic peaks.     Alibaug is a small coastal town in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, known for its beaches, villas, and beautiful scenery. It is another Mumbai’s famous getaway which makes this place a respite from the city’s hustle and bustle.

    Ganapatipule is the one of the lesser known destinations around Mumbai with minimal human alteration; it pilgrimage site and houses a large orange statue of Ganesh. It makes for a balmy getaway in winters from Mumbai.
