Bloggers

A writer by profession and a mother of three, Saba Ladha has found her passion in blogging and here we bring to you her story in her words.

1. Can you tell our readers about yourself and your blog?

Ans – I’m Saba Irfan Ladha, a food, lifestyle, travel, and parenting blogger and writer from Mumbai. I’m a mom of three and super crazy about learning new things, exploring new destinations, and writing about these all. I love to play with words and maybe that’s why I’m a blogger, author, and writer today. I have my two e-books published already out of which one is a global travelogue and the other is romantic fiction. I’m also a food critic and a connoisseur reviewer on Zomato. (So far, I have reviewed around 500 restaurants in Mumbai excluding the ones that aren’t listed on Zomato.) I also have a blue tick verified account on Amazon and a large number of followers waiting for my recommendations there. For the love of my knowledge, I have learned some global languages like Russian, French, and Arabic. Presently, I’m working with a Melbourne based company as a content writer. And my blog is all about my discoveries, personal experiences as a mother and a human. Also, the recommendations I have for my readers about an ideal lifestyle.

2. Describe how did you first get into blogging?

Ans- I started blogging out of chance after my third kid. So, basically, it was to kill frustration and boredom, but later I started loving creating and writing content, and now blogging is a vital part of my life.

3. Can you tell me some of your strengths that really helped you in blogging?

Ans- My biggest strength to support me through blogging is my husband. Not many know that I’m not much educated to write so much and work on PCs. But my husband helped me out in understanding the minutest thing of the digital world. Rest was the knowledge I gained from our favourite Google Baba! And yes, my sisters and my friends were my biggest encouragers.

4. How would you describe your blogging style?

Ans. One word – Interactive.

In a sentence – It’s everything that happens in your daily life, you want to know about and didn’t know anything about!

6. What type of networking do you think is better to enhance your traffic to the blog?

Ans- Seeing today’s trend – it’s Instagram and WhatsApp! But that’s temporary of course, just like all the trends are! For long-term benefits, Pinterest is the best medium followed by Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

7. What do you think is the best service a blogger can provide to his readers?

Ans- I think if the blogger understands what her/his reader wants to know and gives genuine feedback, review, or information about the same, then it’s awesome!

8. What would be your ideal working environment?

Ans- You can easily predict that – it would be outdoors amidst nature, near a beautiful valley or near a waterfall maybe!

9. How do you manage time to run your blog efficiently?

Ans- Lol! Don’t ask that. For me it’s a constant struggle between content writing, influencing, writing for my magazine, and blogging. And yes, did I forget managing three kids, a joint family, and my restaurant reviews!!

10. What do you think is the best strategy that worked well for you to get more traffic to your blog?

Ans – For me, being amidst the blogger friends worked a lot. Since I was constantly interacting with people of the same genre, work was shared consistently. And at the end of the day, this benefits a lot!!
