Its the sesaon for Ganesh chaturthi and modaks & what better way to enjoy the festivity than an intersting modak. Below is an recipe on modak mocktail by Chef Vikram Arora, consulting chef – Mannrangi.

Ingredients

  • Vanilla ice cream 50 grams 
  • Jaggery 25 grams Fresh coconut 50 grams Ghee 5 grams Green cardamom powder 1 gram 
  • Milk 50 grams 
  • Almond 2.5 grams
  • Pistachio 2.5 grams
  • Cashew 2.5 grams

Method :
In a pan, heat ghee, add grated coconut, bring it to a golden brown. Add grated Jaggery ,stir it till it melts. Add cardamom powder. Finish it with adding dry fruits to it.
In a blender,  add this mixture, vanilla ice-cream, milk and blend it. Garnish with dry fruits and modak. Serve cold.
