Everyone agrees that the best thing about the summer is the sultry, juicy mango. The king of fruits that blesses us once a year keeps the excitement of the season going. Long revered as a fruit, it is savoured in all its glory all across the country. Bringing it to us in previously unimagined avatars is Poetry by Love & Cheesecake. On June 1, Poetry will host a special Mango Pop-Up lunch across all its outlets. A 4-course set lunch unlike any other!
Poetry by Love & Cheesecake has garnered one of the strongest patron bases in Mumbai, thanks to its 400+ strong gourmet menu offerings that the city had barely experienced before. The Mango Pop-Up lunch is one of its special ways to celebrate the king of fruits that deserves to be relished in many more imaginative avatars than it currently is. The lunch begins with a Mango Consommé, a piping hot soup with a choice of either Paneer or Chicken Mango Coriander Dumpling. This will be followed by a choice of Salad – Arugula, summer veggies & mango with Lemon ginger dressing for vegetarians or Mango Chicken and Avocado Salad for the meat lovers. The Main Course will comprise the irresistible Mango Butter, Mustard & Champagne Glazed Tofu or Chicken in Coconut Mango Verde Sauce, served with herbed rice, both bringing unique flavours to the platter. For Dessert, there’s the delectable Mango Raspberry Cheesecake that melts in the mouth with all its goodness. The menu is prepared with the season’s best Alphonso mangoes, sourced directly from a farmer in Ratnagiri district.
The special lunch pop-up is available only on Saturday, June 1 across Poetry outlets in Kala Ghoda, Juhu, Lower Parel and Bandra. Poetry’s mango pop-up lunch is the treat every mango lover deserves! Don’t forget to reserve your seats in advance!
