“This year I have no such plans. In fact, I am going to be with my family and my dog and I will be working. Valentine’s Day is a beautiful day for people who love each other and it’s a beautiful thing to celebrate,” she continues, “It’s very important for a person to tell the other person how much they mean to them. I am someone who shows it in actions more than verbally. In my actions, you will definitely see how much a person means to me. The same thing is with my family and friends. I go out of my comfort zone if someone means something to me. I am a person of action. The person who knows me would definitely know that.”

Everyone has a very different way of dealing with love and relationships. Some people are very expressive, while others aren’t. On which category she belongs, Sneha begins by talking about self-love.

“I feel every person should be in love and respect themselves and do things for themselves. When a person is happy from within, they can keep people around them happy. It’s not right to be dependent on someone else for your happiness. We all need love and compassion and it’s beautiful to love and be loved. You can’t completely throw yourself on someone and hold them responsible for your happiness or lack of love,” she says.

The actor and social media influencer feel that coming together in love and creating a different world is a beautiful thing. “It’s very important to be happy as a person and it comes only with your regular pattern of living and your thought process. Holding someone responsible for your flaws and shortcomings isn’t right,” she adds.

In the entertainment industry, there’s much pressure, and competition, and one also faces unsolicited judgments. People don’t get an outlet for their emotions in spite of being in the business of emotions.

“We should teach our younger generation and siblings, kids that it is fine to be happy alone also and later if you find someone that’s beautiful too as that person joins in your journey. But, expecting that this kind of person or love you want will come to you for sure is wrong. That’s why I say that if you are happy you automatically create a happy environment,” she says.

On whether people should be more open about their feelings and emotions, Sneha adds, “Judgements are passed when people are really very free in life and they don’t have any work to do. Be it the business of acting or any other business, judgments are never going to stop. For me, it doesn’t matter if people judge me or not because I am not going to stop no matter what. I have a lot of goals and dreams in my life that I have to accomplish. And, if I start listening to them I will never be able to achieve my goals,” she shares.

The meaning of love has changed over the years. This generation is far more practical even about love and is said to be less emotional.

“People mostly do what society wants them to do. They automatically get influenced by it and I blame no one for changing the meaning of love. It differs from person to person, it’s more of an understanding between the two people and the love they share. At the same time, I must say that everything varies from person to person and we cannot expect different generations to behave in a certain way and that’s why it’s up to the person and the couple. Definitely, the old-school love was beautiful. Now, people’s priorities have also changed a lot. And they have adapted to the changes and will take things forward with them when they are sure,” she ends.

Avika Gor made her Telugu film debut with Uyyala Jampala in 2013. The movie was produced by veteran actor Nagarjuna. Happy to associate with him at the beginning of her career, Avika shares that it helped her learn a lot and get a foothold in the industry.

“I have known him since then, and it has been an amazing journey, connection, and bond that we share. He has been great and I’m very happy to be associated with him for so many years. It’s definitely like a blessing when somebody that senior and experienced is trying to support your growth. It’s beautiful,” she says.

Nagarjuna was also present at the trailer launch of Avika’s first production, Popcorn. “His presence was the biggest gift that he could have ever given to me. It was this one line that I told him that ‘I want you to be there and it’s my first production’ and even before I could talk about the movie or give more details he just said ‘okay I will be there, anything for you’. I think that will stay with me forever. I used to think that he’s one of the kindest souls now I have believed it and have seen it. I’m absolutely in awe of the person he is and the kindness he shows. So it was an amazing experience. We spoke about the movie’s production and concept. He loved the title too. Good reviews from him meant a lot,” she adds.

The actors keep meeting each other quite a few times. “He hosts Big Boss Telugu and I always go there for Diwali Performances. I usually make appearances for the events on the TV channel he has. So we keep meeting and have been extremely fond of each other. So anywhere we know, we’re shooting, we just go and meet each other. The bond we share is sweet,” she says.

Being a huge fan of the actor, Avika has seen a lot of his films. When asked about her favorite Nagarjuna film, the actor replied that it was difficult for her to choose one.

“I honestly cannot choose one. There are so many of his films that I love. He is such a beautiful actor. The recent one that people have been talking about is Brahmastra and I really wish and hope that we see more of him in the upcoming version and sequels of Brahmastra. I loved his character in the film and I love him. He is a living legend and a lot of people get inspired by somebody like him. I absolutely consider him one of those people who inspired me to do more and motivated me to follow my heart. Because he has always been very nice and kind to me, he knows a lot about what’s happening in my life or career. So he keeps listening to me and always gets excited when I get excited. I love that,” smiles the Ballika Vadhu actor.

The best thing about Nagarjuna, according to Avika, is that he is extremely grounded, he is living in gratitude every moment of his life.

“He is always respectful towards others and a very humble person. There are so many qualities of him that I would want to imbibe in my life. I look forward to meeting him more, getting to know him, and learning from him. He always makes me feel very special and also makes me realize how important it is to live with gratitude. He always makes me feel like an important person in the room and that’s rare. He makes other people feel superior and comfortable. The kind of support people like him shows and the kind of blessing they give us is unconditional and beautiful. His kindness is something which will remain with me in my heart forever,” she adds.

While actress Rashami Desai has been enthralling the audiences for a long time now with different roles, her character in Anil V Kumar’s Ratri ke Yatri 2 has been the toughest. The actress says that she was quite nervous initially and hopes the audience loves the show now.

“As an actor, I have always been extremely selective about the roles I play. I prefer to look at the challenges the role possesses and how much of the story it can tell. I even do my personal groundwork and research before signing up for a role and believe in putting in a personal touch to make it more relatable to the audiences,” she says, adding, “It was a lengthy process from getting the look and more importantly to get into the skin of the character. The role is one of the most difficult ones I have essayed so far in my career and I heartily look forward to audience feedback. Having said that, I want to thank Anil sir for choosing this subject and telling an important story.

Talking about working with Anil, she says, “Anil V. Kumar Sir is a very aware and intelligent person and I see myself as a director’s actor. The experience of working with him was blissful as he helped me a lot to get into the character I’m playing, given its severe challenges.”

She adds, “It was an absolute pleasure working on Ratri Ke Yatri 2. I have to admit I was nervous at the beginning as the subject deals with red-light workers. But the comfort level provided by the entire team ensured that I could effectively do justice to my part. However, ultimately, it’s up to our audiences to decide how well we did. I hope they like it as we all have given our best.”

The content of the show is bold and will capture interest, says Rashami. “I think everyone has their notion regarding red light areas and the people who live there. Some call it bad, some call it unnecessary but I will call it the harsh truth of life. It’s easier to judge them from the outside but ever since this experience I will only say that their lives are the harshest truth of life for which many of us are responsible. I also think that the least anyone can do is respect for their life is the toughest,” she says.
