Maharaja Chhatrasal Museum, Dhubela

Situated at a distance of 62km from Khajuraho, Maharaja Chhatrasal Museum is located in Dhubela on the Chhatarpur-Nowgaon highway in the Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Popularly known as Dhubela Museum, the palace was built by Maharaja Chhatrasal on the banks of Dhubela Lake. Established in 1955, the museum helps tourists to know the history of the famous Bundela dynasty of Khajuraho. This museum has eight galleries, of which two galleries display inscriptions, copper plates, Sati pillars, lingas, and inscribed images of the Gupta and Kalachuri period. The museum houses a wide range of sculptures of the Shakti cult. It has also a significant collection of Jaina images.

Adivart Tribal and Folk Art Museum, Khajuraho

Situated within the Chandela Cultural Complex in Khajuraho, this museum is an ideal place for history lovers, as it possesses a rich collection of tribal and folk art and artifacts. The museum offers visitors a peek into the history of customs and rituals of different tribes in Madhya Pradesh. Gujari Mahal Archeological Museum, Gwalior

The archaeological heritage displayed in the museum is comprised of stone sculptures, terracotta figures, stone inscriptions, copper plate inscriptions, coins, bronze sculptures, paintings, arms & weapons, and excavated material.

1. In Varanasi alone, there are more than 80 ghats along the Ganges River, each having its own background and significance.
2. The ghats were initially built over a period of several centuries by numerous Hindu monarchs and emperors. Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao, the Peshwa of the Maratha, constructed some of the most renowned ghats.
3. The busiest and most well-known ghat in Varanasi is Dashashwamedh. Lord Brahma is said to have offered a large sacrifice, or yajna, here to welcome Lord Shiva back after an exile.
4. The most sacred ghat for Hindus is the Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi. A person is said to achieve moksha, or freedom from the cycle of rebirth if they are cremated here.
5. Another significant ghat in Haridwar is the Har Ki Pauri Ghat. Lord Vishnu is said to have left his imprint here when the gods and demons were churning the seas.
6. Ancient Hindu texts make reference to the Assi Ghat in Varanasi, one of the earliest ghats. Also, before beginning the Pancha Kosi Parikrama, a 50 km journey around the city, pilgrims bathe here to purify themselves.
